"Racism is a white people problem! Don't burden POC when you should be doing the work!"
"White people shouldn't talk about racism! You should be listening to POC!"
Isn't this a bit contradictory?

Honest question not trying to start shit: would you have a non-aggressive conversation with Vaush? I feel like the two of you would get along, given that both of you seem to share many of the same criticisms of the left (and ofc the same dislike of the right)

As someone who has followed the backlash to the White Fragility book, I feel like there's some conflating of different arguments going on in this first ask
Sure you do have dirtbag left types who are going to misuse "well it's liberal therefore it's all bad" to avoid doing anti-racist work at all
But there's also been a legit critique that maybe a corporate training manual written by a white person shouldn't be the first on every list of "book for white allies to read about racism" ahead of work by actual black people? And ones that interrogate racism on a deeper level, too, but the fact that a white author is being treated as an expert is really the most troubling part

Can't your "Gandhi trap" argument be utilized to justify other more morally reprehensible protest groups? If the people who wanted to break quarantine or a KKK riot started burning buildings or turning cop cars, would you be ok with it?
I'm asking this in earnest btw, i agree with you but if someone asked me what i'm asking you now i'd only be able to respond "if the protest is morally justifiable" and i hope you see why that's a bad answer.

is forgoing college a viable option? for a while ive told myself like, "ahh you dont NEED to go to college but i probably will" and then its just slipped further in both directions where im like, im not gonna go to college but i need to, and i dont know anymore. of course its a loaded question and like im not basing this "decision" solely on youtube boys but i am curious as to your thoughts, considering you are "well-educated" or whatever and do lots of research on your own, in the sense of not being within academia. ive become very cynical towards the us education system idk

Thank you for talking about Polyamory during your most recent video. I don't see a lot of positive/non-fetishy Real Person examples of it (anywhere, but especially on youtube dot gov), and it was genuinely kinda validating to see someone I respect discuss polyamory as a long-term lived experience as opposed to a hypothetical Thing That Others May Do.

Most things I find online are geared toward residents in Europe and/or Muslim radicalization and that’s not the conversation I’m trying to have.
