Because from what have read the allies sent out the Potsdam declaration, Japan did not surrender, Allies then dropped the nukes and even after that the senior leadership of the japanese still did not want to surrender it only happened after the emperor personally forced them to.

Have you yet seen hbomberguy's RWBY video? There was clearly a lot of research about RWBY's production put into it, which he used to strengthen his arguments, and I think it shows how media analysis videos can be greatly improved by doing research, even if it's arguably unnecessary given the relative lightness of the topic.

What's so frustrating is I see so many people on Tumblr/Twitter dumping on those shows (AT and LoK) for having 'fake representation' and it's all because of capitalist cowards - the creatives really wanted the rep but the execs at CN/Nick kept saying "no, it won't play in China/Russia" or some other excuse. We were extremely lucky to get as much rep in SU as we did.
