Here's what comes to mind:

I also have a soft spot for a particular kind of action sidescroller aesthetic? Like, not the actual Giger-meets-Robocop visuals of Contra, but the particular mix of motion and bombast and regular explosions the series featured. Noitu Love and Gunstar Heroes have very different visuals compared with Contra but have similar aesthetics of motion.
I'm also a sucker for aesthetics that hearken back to older visual styles but use them to different ends, like the way Teleglitch evokes Quake for a much moodier experience.
I feel like there are probably a lot of classic 16-bit games that are slipping my mind right now and also a lot of newer things I never got to play but appreciated the look of regardless. So ask me later and you might get a different list.

Games whose for lack of a better term "aesthetic" you like? Like the hyper-card-inspired graphics from the Obra-Dinn video you talked about a while back.
