Trump is embedded in a much more overtly genocidal politics than Biden, but has also proven in many ways dysfunctional when in power. given that his party is being pretty explicit in how hard they would support the genocide of Palestine, and is outlining how they would fully destroy democratic institutions if back in power, and Trump himself has THRILLED at the idea of being a dictator, I don't think "let the Republicans win and hope they fuck all that up" is a great strategy. but, yeah, I have to acknowledge that, if Biden wins, and feels emboldened by that to continue in his practice of supporting the genocide of Palestine, I will always wonder if Trump could have been as EFFECTIVELY genocidal. however it plays, we won't get to see the alternate timeline and see which was worse.
